Scott R. Schonfeld
Managing Partner
Mr. Schonfeld joined Centennial as a partner in 2010. He is based in Los Angeles and oversees all West Coast operations.
Prior to Centennial, Mr. Schonfeld was a Vice President at The Praedium Group, a New York-based real estate private equity firm, where he was responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities in the western United States. Mr. Schonfeld also oversaw the asset management, leasing and disposition of Praedium’s retail investments in California, Texas and Arizona. He opened Praedium’s West Coast office in 2008.
Mr. Schonfeld previously spent five years in Praedium’s New York headquarters, where he was responsible for analysis, due diligence and transaction execution functions for the acquisition, management and disposition of the firm’s assets. During his career at Praedium, Mr. Schonfeld underwrote and acquired over $1 billion in real estate properties comprised of 6,000 multifamily units and 5.6 million SF of commercial space.
Mr. Schonfeld holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Columbia University.
